| Composition of the legislature: |
Approximately 350 state legislative leaders
from all 50 states including Presidents of the Senate, Speakers of the House or Assembly,
Majority Leaders, Minority Leaders and Pro Tempores. |
| Purpose: |
A non-profit, non-partisan research and
educational foundation which serves as a facilitator of communication and cooperation
between all state legislative leaders. Affiliates with major universities to offer
objective educational programmes focusing on public policy matters and issues of
management and leadership. Also conducts research and publishes pertinent reference
materials. |
