Batumi Exhibition “Expo Batumi 2007”

On November 1-3, 2007 in Batumi, Georgia on the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of The Autonomous Republic of Adjara and International Trade and Industry Fair took place under the name EXPO BATUMI 2007.

The international Association of Business and Parliament - Georgia was also invited on exhibition  with project: ”Product from Conflict Zone”.  IABP has organized inclusion of  entrepreneurs from conflict regions, South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The Exhibition continued for three days.

The objectives of   IABP’s participation in exhibition  was to support entrepreneurs from conflict zones with including them in trading processes and help them to find useful links with investors for realizing their products.

The Achievements from Exhibition:

1. The entrepreneur from Gali region has found potential founder, ministry of Education of Georgia, which is ready to buy 1, 5 of tones honey for schools.
2. The entrepreneur from South Ossetia has negotiations with Turkish investor, which has juice factory in Turkey and is ready to buy large quantity of apple.

The achievements was very important for IABP, because it was the another concrete step for future developing project “Product from the Conflict Zone”
